I know these boxes have been around for sometime, but I just love them and I think they make an awesome gift for someone special. My Stampin Sister, Amanda, kindly shared with me her altered instructions that fit our A5 cards and envelopes.

I used the Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set from the Suymmer Mini Catalogue and teamed it up with some paper from the Candy Lane DSP pack.

Here is a photo of the box opened:

and now some close ups of the contents inside:

Welcome to my very first Blog Hop!

I’m sure I have mentioned it before I am part of a yahoo chat group called ESAD…” Extremely Special Aussie Demo’s” On this site we share business tips and ideas and form new friendships which is just lovely.

If your an Australian or New Zealand Demo feel free to click here and join our group!

So what you ask is going on? We at ESAD have banded together to produce some very beautiful and inspirational projects showcasing the stamps you can earn for FREE during SALE-A-BRATION.

You can hop from blog to blog and get some inspiration and see a variety of projects!

    So here are my projects:

I have used 2 of the SALE-A-BRATION Stamp sets for my projects,  Happy Moments and Whimsical Words and teamed it up with the very bright and summery Kaleidoscope Design Series Paper from the SUMMER MINI Catalogue:

My first project is this very cute little Handbag Tote made to fit 6 cards and envelopes.

         Side View

If Handbags are not your thing, then perhaps you could make this cute little card folder from a piece of 12 x 12 card stock. Once again it can hold all 6 cards and envelopes.

Finally I have made a couple of cute little notebooks from my scraps of DSP. These are so to handy to have for your handbag or next to your phone or computer

I am giving one of these away as BLOG Candy, so make sure you leave me a comment. If you comment on everyone’s blog in the Blog Hop you can e-mail Leonie (the organiser!!) and let her know and she will put you in the draw for some blog candy from other demonstrators as well!

Well now it is time for you can hop along to the gorgeous Louise Sutton’s Blog and see what fabulous projects she has created for you.

    Happy Stampin’

Well it is hard to believe that another year is gone and it is time to welcome 2010. It seems like yesterday that all the 2000 end of the world hype was happening and here we are 10 years later. A lot has happened to me in those past 10 years. I met my husband, bought a house and have had 2 beautiful children together. Not bad. I hope the next 10 years are as good to me!

Yesterday I ducked to the shops to try and find a new outfit to wear to the New Year’s Party we were going to at our friend’s house, (thanks for a great night Glen and Liz) when these flashing cocktail glasses caught my eye on a bargain table. i knew that they would be a hit at the party for me and a couple of my friends so I bought them.

I decided to make a matching card to go with them and since I was short of time I cased one from Marelle Taylor.

I am really happy with how they turned out and my 2 friends I gave them to at the party loved them. Cheers to you girls!

I of course got myself one as well so I could join in the fun with my non-alcoholic beverage. (One of the joys of breastfeeding is that you can not drink alcohol which means no hangover for me!!!!!)

Can you guess what colour mine was????

    Yeap …… PINK!!!!!!

    Happy 2010

This year a group of Stampin Up Demos decided to do a Secret Santa swap.

We were all assigned a person to spoil and had to make them a gift, a card and purchase some products from their Stampin! Up! Wish list.

I was assigned Leonie Schroder and this is what I made for her:

She is a huge Coffe Lover so I made this box and put a bag of yummy Gloria Jean’s Coffee inside.

Next I made her an altered DVD Tin fill of cards, Love Notes and Gift Tags

And finally she wanted some buttons from the new Summer Mini Catalogue. I made a belly band in matching paper and attached a bow on top. Doesn’t it look cute??

This is what I got from my Secret Santa, Tanya Kitto:

Here is some close ups of all my beautiful gifts:

Thankyou so much Tanya. You did a  fantastic job and I love all the pink!!!!

It was so much fun. I hope all the other ladies who were in the swap enjoyed getting spoilt as much as I did.

     Hi everyone

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and spent some time with you loved ones. I have enjoyed taking it easy for a few days. I have not picked up a stamp or even felt like it. Instead I have been spending time playing with my children and some of their new toys from Santa.

Here are a few photos from Christmas Day. We had 13 adults and 5 children at our house for Christmas lunch. It was busy but very enjoyable.

This is our Christmas tree after all the presents had been opened. (I forgot to take one with all the pressies under it)

I took this photo of archie and myself while we were waiting for our guests to arrive.

This is Miss Sophia all tuckered out after opening presents.

    Merry Christmas

My Upline Stephanie Pike holds a get together at Christmas time for all her downlines. This year’s event was held at her house last night. One part of our Christmas get together is a present swap.

We all have to bring a handmade gift and then we draw out a number to determine the order of present picking.

When it is your turn you can choose a present from the pile or steal one that someone has already picked.

As you can imagine this can get a little crazy and there is always lots of fun and laughter.

I thought that I would share with you the gift that I made.

It is a Gingerbread Cookie Pack with a Christmas Oven mitt and tea towel. I have wrapped up a biscuit mix and included a tube of M & Ms for decorating.

I attached a Gift Tag to the front which is missing from the photo as I was running late as usual and only finished it as I was walking out the door.

    It did look cute!

Well I have finished my next lot of Christmas Gifts. This time I have altered some DVD Tins and made a set of matching cards and Love Notes to go inside. I have made 4 sets that will be given to some very special ladies in my life next week. (Don’t want to spoil the fun by saying who they are for)

This first set was made using the new Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set from the Summer Mini. I have teamed it up with some DSP from the Candy Lane pack, as well as Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette Card stock.

This set turned out really well and I surprised myself by not using pink! I have recently re-discovered my Embrace Life Stamp Set. I have teamed it up with some DSP from the Urban Garden pack, as well as Baja Breeze and Basic Grey Card stock.

I then decided to use the same Embrace Life Stamp set but this time use pink! I have once again used the Candy Lane DSP and Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip card stock.

This set is MY FAVOURITE!!! I just love how Stampin’ Up! co-ordinate everything to make my life easier. I have used the Sweet Stems Stamp Set that matches perfectly with the Raspberry Tart DSP. I have used Pretty in Pink and Rose Red Card stock.

Anyway I hope you have enjoyed looking at them. I am more than happy with the way they have turned out and I hope the ladies who are receiving them like them as well.

    Until next time

    Happy Stamping

I know that I have fallen a little behind in my Christmas card Countdown, so in this post I will endevour to catch up.

    Week 3

I just love this little Santa. It is from the Holly Jolly Christmas Set and it was the first set I purchased from this year’s catalogue. I teamed up Santa with some stripey paper from the Ski Slope DSP and finished it off with some wide Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. Santa’s hat has been popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional to give it a 3D effect.

    Week 4

This card is a very simple one I made using some scraps of DSP from the Ski Slope pack and my square and circle punches.

The circle medalion stamp is from Season of Joy and I have finished it off with 3 gold brads.

    Week 5

I just love the colour combo of Real red and Old Olive. This tree is from the Christmas Classics Stamp set and I added a  scalloped strip of Whisper White to break it up a bit.

    Week 6

Another simple but effective card using some DSP and another stamp from the Christmas Classics set. I coloured the stamp with my markers so I could have the 3 colours.

Anyhow I hope your cards are well and truely underway and these have given you some inspiration.

    Happy Stamping
