I wanted to share with you the project I worked on this weekend.

Around Christmas I discovered a tutorial for an altered Holiday Tin on Andrea Walford’s site and thought it was a fantastic idea. So I tracked down some DVD Tins and decorated some for Christmas gifts. Well I had a few still lying around and I tought that I would decorate one using the very popular cupcake theme at the moment.

I just love the giant Stampin’ Up! Cupcake Stamp and it was perfect to decorate the front of the tin, teamed up with the pink and red dotty paper from the Pink Flamingo DSP. I also attached some wide Real Red Grosgrain ribbon around the tin to hold it altogether.

On the inside I made  a clear pocket out of a cello bag that closes with a velcro dot. Inside I placed some decorated Love Notes and envolopes as well as some cut little gft tags ready to place on any little gift.

On the other side I mad a scallop flap to hold 2 A% sized cards and envelopes. (You could squeeze in 3 if they did not have too many layers)

All in all I am extreamly happy with the way it turned out! I think it is the perfect gift for some that gives them everything they need to send someone some birthday wishes. Cards, Tags and Love Notes!

I am going to make another one using the blue dotty paper in the same Pink Flamingo DSP.

I hope you liked this little project and I promise you I will get over this cupcake fetish soon!

    Enjoy

I thought that I would share with you the card I made for this year’s Convention held recently in Canberra.

I just love Pink Pirouette and Chocolate chip together and even though this is a simple card I just loved the way it turned out!

I made 50 of these and they seemed to be well recieved.

I thought I would also share with you another card that almost made it as my swap card.

While trying to come up with a card for my Convention swaps, I created this card. I also love the way this card turned out, but since it had a few more layers, I decided not to make it as my swap card, even though it is very beautiful.

I hope you like them both

I decided to make another cupcake cake card following the same layout as the one I did the other day.

I just changed the piece of DSP and instead of using the cupcake stand I used the single cupcake stamp.

My DS( aged 3) and I actually made cupcakes today, so I guess they kind of inspired me.

I hope you enjoy it and Happy Stamping

This was one of the Stamp Sets I was hoping that would make it to our new catalogue this year and I was so happy when it did.

    It is just beautiful!

I decided to have a little bit of a play with it this weekend, and found this fantastic card holder and card ideas on Andrea Walford’s site.

I am loving the In colours and I have never used Basic Grey so much until the introduction of the Urban Garden Design Series Papers.

    I hope you like them!

I love making Love Note Cards (3 x 3 inch). These little gift cards are perfect to use up some of your card and DSP scraps and they make cute gifts.

This month’s Stampin’ Up! Special is buy 3 packs of DSP (Design Series paper) and recieve 1 another pack FREE, so I thought that it was a great time to complete some projects that use DSP.

The first project is an idea I got from Shannon West at this year’s Convention in Canberra.

It is a little Card Folder that will hold up to 3 Love Notes and envelopes.

I scalloped along the top edge and decorated the front of the top flap with a piece of DSP and a little punch medallion.

The folder holds together with a piece of ribbon.

(Please email me if you would like a copy of the dimensions I used to creat the folder, as I am not clever enough to be able to download a Word document into my Posts)

The second Project is this beautiful Scallop Edged Square Box.

I found this idea on Dannie Graves’ site. You can find it under Video Tutorials.

I have used the lovely Raspberry Tart DSP to make the lid of the box and decorate the Love Notes.

This box is the perfect size to hold a small box of chocolates and Set of 4 Love Notes and Envelopes.

I will be holding a class at my house on Saturday 27th June at 2pm. In this class you will make the box, 4 Love Notes and be given a box of chocolates to complete this fantastic Gift idea. Cost will be $20 per person. Please email me if you would like to attend.

    Hope you like them

I was asked to organise the Make and Take Card for our Downline Meeting last night.

I needed to include some Design Series Paper for this month’s Stampin’ Up! special.

I decided to use the Crazy for Cupcakes Stamp Set after seeing this fabulous Tea Towel at my local Coles Supermarket.

I have decorated the tea towel with a Belly band and the same Stamp image, for another stamping idea.

Thankyou to Makeesha for her inspiaration for this card.

I have used the following products from Stampin’ Up!:

Stamps: Crazy for Cupcakes, Polka Dot Background, Best Yet (Level 1 Hostess)

Card: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

    DSP: Sweet Always

Ink: Staz On Black, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose

Punches: Scallop Edge, Design Label. Large Oval

At our last downline meeting the lovely Amanda showed us how to make these fantastic Easter Baskets.

As soon as I saw them I knew that they would make the perfect gift for Archie’s Day Care teacher’s.

Amanda found the idea on Alisa Tilsner’s Blog, but she has altered the dimensions so that they fit a 100g Easter Egg.

I have used some of my stash of retired papers and I am really happy with how they have turned out.

For the Scallop Tag I used the chick from the A Good Egg Set and I applied Dazzling Diamonds with some Heat n Stick Powder.

I hope you like them as much as me!

Well I know that quite a few of you have been wondering what has happened to me and why I have not been posting on my Blog!

Well I am pregnant and have been suffering terribly from Morning Sickness or should I say all day sickness. I think I may have finally turned the corner as I am beginning to feel half normal again, so look out for some posts in the near future!
