Can you believe that we have 3 friends celebrating Birthdays today!
The first birthday we will be celebrating is Archie’s best friend Zara’s 5th Birthday. She is having a party this morning with a jumping castle and I am not sure who is more excited Archie or Zara. Zara is madly in love with Zu Zu pets at the moment so we got her one. Archie wanted to have a pink cupcake card so I made one and of course some matching paper.

I also wanted to make something special for Zara so I amde her this 12 x 12 Canvas to remember thier recent Farm visit the went on with their Kindy.
Archie helped me to pick out the photos and I kept with the pink theme. When Archie woke up the next morning after I created it he said “WOW Mum she is going to love it!”

It also happens to be Zara’s Mum’s Birthday today as well.Since we were going to their place for the party I thought I would make her a little gift as well. I made her a bag full of cards and envelopes as well as a matching gift box. I like to refer to these boxes as my Indulgents packs as I fill them with some lovely flavoured teas, chocolates and a relaxing face mask. Of course I had to make a birthday card to match.

Lastly my very dear friend and fellow demonstrator Rebecca from Heart and Craft is also celebrating her Birthday today. I have made her a card and matching Gift Bag topper to hide her gift. I can not share her gift with you yet as I won’t be seeing her until this afternoon and I do not want to spoil the surprise

Happy Birhday to each and everyone of you! I hope your day is full of love, laughter and happiness.
Happy Stamping

I was lucky enough to have a girl’s Night Out with 2 of my closest friends on Friday Night. We do not get to out much these days as we have 8 children between the 3 of us, but when we do we always have a great time. These 2 friends mean the world to me and I wanted to make them a little gift to help them get through the rest of the holidays. I just love this template from Papertry Ink. It is called Tucked Away and you can print it staright onto your cardstock and cut it out. I filled both of the boxes with some flavoured Tea and yummy chocolates.

Love you GIRLS and I am looking forward to our next night out!

Author’s Note: I am not sure what happened to this post. I had it scheduled for while I was away at Convention and for some reason it got lost in cyber space. I had forgotten all about it until it turned up in my Drafts Folder tonight????? Not sure what is going on but thought I would share it with you all anyway
Over the years I have made some lovely friends who are fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Sadly many of them are not going to Convention this year but I am fortunate that I will be catching up with some of my very dear friends.
I wanted to make them a little bag of goodies to thank them for their friendship and late night chats via the Internet.
The first person I am very excited to be catching up with is Nicole Stalker.
I first met Nikki at last year’s convention and ever since she has been a great source of inspiration. She often leaves me the loveliest comments on my blog. Here is her little gift bag:

Next I made a bag for my Secret Sister Round 3 - Claire Harrison. As many of you regular visitors would have seen Claire has been absolutely spoiling me over the past 3 months and I can not wait to meet her and thank her in person for all my beautiful gifts.
Claire LOVES elephants so here is her little gift bag of goodies:

Finally Kerri Donski is a relatively new friend of mine. She recently shared with me her instructions to make an awesome little gift box to hold some Dove Chocolates. I promised her a handmade gift in return. Now Kerri is a girl after my own heart her favourite colour is pink and she just loves the colour combo of Pink Pirouette and Close to Cocoa (or chocolate Chip).
So here is her goody bag:
I will be back soon with some more until then

Believe it or not my husband and I share the same birthday (this Monday) and like most people I struggle making male cards.
I wanted to make Michael a card for his birthday on Monday and I knew exactly what set I wanted to use - Card Night. Michael is a huge Poker fan. He and a group of friends get together every Sunday night to play Poker so I thought that this set would be very appropriate.
Here is what I came up with:

I quite like these colours together - Kraft, Basic Black and Real Red.
You cannot really see but I used my Big Shot and embossed the black card on the bottom with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
Anyhow Happy Birthday Michael! Love you heaps

My Mum does so much for me and my family and I wanted to get her a little something for Easter. She is not a really big chocolate eater, so I decided to get her gift voucher from a bookstore as she loves to have her head in a good book.
She commented on how much she like the new In Colour Rich Razzleberry, so I made her a gift card holder using it and some matching DSP from the Cottage Wall pack.
I really like how it turned out:

HAPPY EASTER BLOGGERS!
This would have to be my favourite project that I made for Easter this year. It is my favourite for a couple of reasons.

Firstly it is because it is so darn CUTE!!!! It is a project for the latest Round of U Stamp and it was designed by the very talented Kirsty Brown.
Secondly because I made it during a fun night of stamping with my good friend Steph. Last Saturday night Steph and I had a great time laughing and creating and of course alot of gas bagging!!!!
Lastly it would have to be my favourite because the smile it put on my friend’s face when I gave it to her. (I made a vow this year to stop hoarding all the things I make. I spend hours creating and most of the time I shove them in box and forget all about them . I have even had a few of my projects involving chocolate pass their use by date!!!!! So from now on I am going to try and give away MORE of my creations - this is so much more fun then hoarding them away)
Don’t you just LOVE this great BIG pink Bow?
And a look at the contents inside

I recently purchased the I {heart} Hearts Stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalogue.
Not only is this a beautiful stamp set but until the end of February Stampin’ Up! will donate $2 for every I {heart} Hearts Stamp set sold to Haitian Disaster Relief.

This is the 1st card I made for my husband, Michael for Valentine’s Day. It is a case of Sarah-Jane Kale’s beautiful Butterfly Card. I really love the way it turned ut, but I was a bit worried that it was too girly sooo . . .
Here is my second attempt:

As you can see I added some blue to make it a bit more blokey. I have used some DSP from the Slumber Party Speciality Paper Pack. The box/folder in front is one that adapted to fit a large block of Rum and Raisin Chocolate. (His favourite)

I had forgotten all about these boxes/folders. I made a heap of the at Christmas time after purchasing the instructions from Marelle Taylor. Like I said Iadapted them to fit a block of chocolate. Here is one I made to fit a 100g block of Cadbury chocolate:

Next I made a Mini Pizza box to hold some Love Notes. I just love making this little box, it is super easy and really cute. It is just perfect to hold a set of Love Notes and envelopes

Finally here are the Love Notes!
Happy stamping and don’t forget to order your {heart} Hearts Stamp set from your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and help out a very worthy cause.

I know these boxes have been around for sometime, but I just love them and I think they make an awesome gift for someone special. My Stampin Sister, Amanda, kindly shared with me her altered instructions that fit our A5 cards and envelopes.
I used the Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set from the Suymmer Mini Catalogue and teamed it up with some paper from the Candy Lane DSP pack.
Here is a photo of the box opened:

and now some close ups of the contents inside:
