Can you believe that we have 3 friends celebrating Birthdays today!

The first birthday we will be celebrating is Archie’s best friend Zara’s 5th Birthday. She is having a party this morning with a jumping castle and I am not sure who is more excited Archie or Zara. Zara is madly in love with Zu Zu pets at the moment so we got her one. Archie wanted to have a pink cupcake card so I made one and of course some matching paper.

I also wanted to make something special for Zara so I amde her this 12 x 12 Canvas to remember thier recent Farm visit the went on with their Kindy.

Archie helped me to pick out the photos and I kept with the pink theme. When Archie woke up the next morning after I created it he said “WOW Mum she is going to love it!”

It also happens to be Zara’s Mum’s Birthday today as well.Since we were going to their place for the party I thought I would make her a little gift as well. I made her a bag full of cards and envelopes as well as a matching gift box. I like to refer to these boxes as my Indulgents packs as I fill them with some lovely flavoured teas, chocolates and a relaxing face mask. Of course I had to make a birthday card to match.

Lastly my very dear friend and fellow demonstrator Rebecca from Heart and Craft is also celebrating her Birthday today. I have made her a card and matching Gift Bag topper to hide her gift. I can not share her gift with you yet as I won’t be seeing her until this afternoon and I do not want to spoil the surprise

Happy Birhday to each and everyone of you! I hope your day is full of love, laughter and happiness.

    Happy Stamping

I was lucky enough to have a girl’s Night Out with 2 of my closest friends on Friday Night. We do not get to out much these days as we have 8 children between the 3 of us, but when we do we always have a great time. These 2 friends mean the world to me and I wanted to make them a little gift to help them get through the rest of the holidays. I just love this template from Papertry Ink. It is called Tucked Away and you can print it staright onto your cardstock and cut it out. I filled both of the boxes with some flavoured Tea and yummy chocolates.

Love you GIRLS and I am looking forward to our next night out!

I know I have not been blogging much lately but I have been very busy getting organised for convention.

I leave today at 1pm and I am so so so excited.

I thought over the next couple of days I will share with you some of the things I have made for swaps and for my friends who are also attending convention.

First of all I thought Iwould share with you the little gift I made for my roomies - Steph, Lou and Rebecca.

Ever since convention last year where we all purchased the beautiful Raspberry Tart pencil case at Memento Mall, I have been wanted to make the girls a matching Notebook. Well 1 year later I have finally done it. To go with their notebook I made each of them a bag Tag so we don’t mix up our Convention bags and a little M&M cello bag tube decorated with the extra large 2 Step Bird Punch

Anyway I hope the girls like them. I will be back tomorrow with some more gifts

I found a tutorial for this really cute Cupcake Box here.

My good friend Stephanie had a Birthday yesterday, so I made one of these boxes and put in a really cute fabric cupcake box that she can put on her desk to hold all those little bits and pieces you never know where to put. And of course I had to put in some yummy chocolates as Steph loves chocolates.

Anyhow here are some close ups:

Anyway I hope you had a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!

    Happy creating everyone

I know I have said it before but I just love my new BIG SHOT Machine!

And I love it even more when I find lots of uses for the one die. The Scallop Envelope Die is one of those dies that can be used to make lots of different things.

You can use one to make a really cute envelope and matching card:

Or put 2 together as in this Tutorial and make a cute little holder to hold 4 Love Notes (3 x 3) and their envleopes:

Or following this tutorialyou can use 4 of them to make this cute little square box, perfect to fill with chocolates or some little gift.

The possibilites are endless so what are you waiting for? Go get creating!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Anyhow if you have been following the hop you should have just come from lovely Leonie Schroder’s Blog

    So here are my projects:

I decided to do another One Sheet Wonder. This time I used 2 of the new In Colours from the Autumn-Winter Mini, Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede, along with Pale Plum to make 9 beautiful cards and a matching folder to hold them and their envelopes. Once again Stampin’ Up! have excelled at making sure all their products co-ordinate with one another. I have used the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon and the new Extra Large 2 step Bird Punch.

The first thing I did was to stamp up a sheet of A4 Whisper White Card stock:

    and cut it like this:

but you could use a piece of DSP if you prefer. if you are having trouble reading the dimensions here they are:

    Card 1 14.8 x 4.5cm

    Card 2 14.8 x 4.5cm

    Card 3 14.8 x 4.5cm

    Card 4  14.8 x 4cm

    Card 5 3 pieces 6.5 x 4cm

    Card 6 14.8 x 10cm

    Card 7  14.8 x 10cm

    Card 8 14.8 x 4.5cm

    Card 9 4 pieces 3.6 x 3.6cm

Here is a close up of the 9 cards I made with 1 sheet of stamped A4 Whisper White Card:

    Card 1, 2 and 3

    Card 4, 5 and 6

    Card 7, 8 and 9

Here is a close up of the Card Folder:

Card Folder Closed                                                                                                     Card Folder Open

I hope you like them and it inspires you to get stamping with some of the new products from the Autumn-Winter Mini.

“We are again offering Blog Candy for our Blog Hop. What you need to do is complete the blog hop until you get back to me. Isn’t this cute. I made this little box with the Pillow Box Die. It cuts and scores it so all you have to do is add 1 piece of tape/adhesive and fold it up. For this particular box I cut it out of vellum Card and then ran it through my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. I then made a cute little flower following the tutorial here on Dawn’s site.

Now as much as like the Pillow Box, I was a little disappointed with how small it was and I was worried that it would be a little limiting until I found this great tutorial on Splitcoast Stamper’s that uses it to make a really cute bucket. Now on the tutorial they use it to make a pumpkin head for Halloween. I did not find this appealing but I LOVED the concept and used it to make this one using my favourite Candy Lane DSP:

So now my Pillow Box Die is more versatile and great value for $37.95. This die is now available in the Autumn-Winter Mini.

    HAPPY EASTER BLOGGERS!

This would have to be my favourite project that I made for Easter this year. It is my favourite for a couple of reasons.

Firstly it is because it is so darn CUTE!!!! It is a project for the latest Round of U Stamp and it was designed by the very talented Kirsty Brown.

Secondly because I made it during a fun night of stamping with my good friend Steph.  Last Saturday night Steph and I had a great time laughing and creating and of course alot of gas bagging!!!!

Lastly it would have to be my favourite because the smile it put on my friend’s face when I gave it to her. (I made a vow this year to stop hoarding all the things I make. I spend hours creating and most of the time I shove them in box and forget all about them . I have even had a few of my projects involving chocolate pass their use by date!!!!! So from now on I am going to try and give away MORE of my creations - this is so much more fun then hoarding them away)

Don’t you just LOVE this great BIG pink Bow?

And a look at the contents inside

I just love how Stampin’ Up! co-ordinate their products. Everything matches and just looks right together!

This little project is one that Andrea Walford included in her Countdown  to Christmas and I thought what a lovely little gift for someone,

It is a little folder that holds 4 magnetic Bookmarks. It is tied together with some of the beautiful Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon. I really love how it turned out and I will be making a few of these to give as gifts. You can never have enough Bookmarks!!!

                                              Folder Closed

                                                 Folder Opened

All the products used to create this project are available in the new Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue available from the 1st April.

    Happy Stamping

I recently found this great little Tea bag Holder while surfing the net for some inspiration. I found this one here on Nichole Heady’s blog, however as you can see I have changed it slightly to suit my needs.

This cute little card could hold, tea, coffee, hot chocolate or anything you like.

I have put 2 coffee bags in this one as the person I am giving it to loves a good cup of coffee just like me. Sadly we don’t get to have one together very often due to family commitments so I thought it would be nice to give her a couple of coffee bags for her to enjoy and think of me when she has the time.

When you open the holder up there is space where you can write  your message. I have added the same Circle Circus Embellishment as on the front.

Here are a couple more examples I have made:
