Can you believe that we have 3 friends celebrating Birthdays today!

The first birthday we will be celebrating is Archie’s best friend Zara’s 5th Birthday. She is having a party this morning with a jumping castle and I am not sure who is more excited Archie or Zara. Zara is madly in love with Zu Zu pets at the moment so we got her one. Archie wanted to have a pink cupcake card so I made one and of course some matching paper.

I also wanted to make something special for Zara so I amde her this 12 x 12 Canvas to remember thier recent Farm visit the went on with their Kindy.

Archie helped me to pick out the photos and I kept with the pink theme. When Archie woke up the next morning after I created it he said “WOW Mum she is going to love it!”

It also happens to be Zara’s Mum’s Birthday today as well.Since we were going to their place for the party I thought I would make her a little gift as well. I made her a bag full of cards and envelopes as well as a matching gift box. I like to refer to these boxes as my Indulgents packs as I fill them with some lovely flavoured teas, chocolates and a relaxing face mask. Of course I had to make a birthday card to match.

Lastly my very dear friend and fellow demonstrator Rebecca from Heart and Craft is also celebrating her Birthday today. I have made her a card and matching Gift Bag topper to hide her gift. I can not share her gift with you yet as I won’t be seeing her until this afternoon and I do not want to spoil the surprise

Happy Birhday to each and everyone of you! I hope your day is full of love, laughter and happiness.

    Happy Stamping

I hope you’re ready for the ESAD Christmas in July Blog Hop!

    What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

If you have been following the Blog Hop you should have come from the blog of Shelley Stewart

    Now here are my PROJECTS:

I have created all my projects in 2 colour schemes. One set is more traditional, using Real Red, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. The other set is non-traditional, using Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery. I have used a couple of Stamp Sets: Trendy Trees, Snow Swirled (Big and small snowflake, Best Yet (Level 1 Hostess Set) and Basic Phrases.

My first project is a beautiful altered DVD tin. I have made these before and I just love how they turn out. I have decorated the front of each tin and inside is a set of Cards, Love Notes and Gift Cards using the fabulous Big Shot Top Note Die.

Next I have made a Window Box that is just perfect to hold a bag of Coffee, Tea, Homemade cookies or Chocolates. This box is an altered version of a tutorial that I purchased from Andrea Walford. I changed the dimensions so that you only use 1 sheet of A4 card stock to create the box and then just another small piece to make the lid.

    Who does not LOVE chocolate.

No gift would be complete without some form of Chocolate. I have made these cute little Dove Chocolate Boxes. I just think these boxes are fantastic. I was lucky enough for the creator Kerri Donsky to share the instructions with me and ever since I have been making these as they make the perfect little gift.

Inside the box. Isn’t great how the chocolates fit perfectly into the little sections?

Finally I have created a Gift Bag Topper so I can put all my gifts into one bag and the recipient can not peak until it is time to open.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my projects. I would LOVE to know which colour scheme is your favourite. Any of my regular Blog Readers will know which one I love the most.

You are now off to Vicki Were to see her lovely festive creations

    Happy Stamping

Author’s Note: I am not sure what happened to this post. I had it scheduled for while I was away at Convention and for some reason it got lost in cyber space. I had forgotten all about it until it turned up in my Drafts Folder tonight????? Not sure what is going on but thought I would share it with you all anyway

Over the years I have made some lovely friends who are fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Sadly many of them are not going to Convention this year but I am fortunate that I will be catching up with some of my very dear friends.

I wanted to make them a little bag of goodies to thank them for their friendship and late night chats via the Internet.

The first person I am very excited to be catching up with is Nicole Stalker.

I first met Nikki at last year’s convention and ever since she has been a great source of inspiration. She often leaves me the loveliest comments on my blog. Here is her little gift bag:

Next I made a bag for my Secret Sister Round 3 - Claire Harrison. As many of you regular visitors would have seen Claire has been absolutely spoiling me over the past 3 months and I can not wait to meet her and thank her in person for all my beautiful gifts.

Claire LOVES elephants so here is her little gift bag of goodies:

Finally Kerri Donski is a relatively new friend of mine. She recently shared with me her instructions to make an awesome little gift box to hold some Dove Chocolates. I promised her a handmade gift in return. Now Kerri is a girl after my own heart her favourite colour is pink and she just loves the colour combo of Pink Pirouette and Close to Cocoa (or chocolate Chip).

So here is her goody bag:

I will be back soon with some more until then

    Happy Stamping

One of the biggest highlights for me at Convention this year was meeting my Secret Sister from ESAD (Round 3).

I was so lucky to have Claire Harrison as my sister and WOW did she spoil me. If you visit my site regularly you would have seen her ealier gifts that she sent me, also Claire has a fantastic blog and you can see it here.

Claire and I spent quite a bit of time together at Convention. She is so talented and I had a heap of questions I wanted to ask her about her creations and some of the techniques she had used. I also recieved my final gift drom Claire and boy she certainly left the best to last.

Claire made me a Card Organiser using one of Stampin’ Up!’s 6 x 6 Linen Post Albums.

Each month has its own decorated sealed pocket to place cards into. On the front of each month there is a place to write down any significant birthday/anniversaries. Surely now I will not forget anyone’s birthday!!!!!

Thank you so much Claire - you were the best ever Secret Sister.

I was so lucky to meet one of my good “cyber” friends Kerri Donsky at Convention. Kerri and I only started emailing each just before convention so it was so nice to meet her in person. I would have liked to chat with her more, but convention is soooo full on and Miss Sophia seemed to want to sleep during lunch so I went back to our apartment and did not get to chat with people as much as I wanted.

Here is a lovely photo of us together.

If you have not visited Kerri’s blog, you really should go and have a look as her work is beautiful. I was lucky enough for Kerri to share with me the instructions to make her fabulous Dove Chocolate Box. I just love this little box and I have been making lots of them to give as gifts to some special friends. I am seeing one of these friends tonight and have made her one and a matching Matchbox card as a belated Birthday Gift.

I made this cute little box of chocolates and matching card for Aaron Scott - the Australian Regional Business Development Manager.

I wanted to thank him for all his hard work in making Stampin’ Up! such a fantastic company to work for. Although I do not know Aaron personally at all the Stampin’ Up! functions I have attended Aaron always greets everyone with a cheery smile and a hello.

I hope he and his family enjoy sharing the chocolates together

    Happy stamping

I know I have not been blogging much lately but I have been very busy getting organised for convention.

I leave today at 1pm and I am so so so excited.

I thought over the next couple of days I will share with you some of the things I have made for swaps and for my friends who are also attending convention.

First of all I thought Iwould share with you the little gift I made for my roomies - Steph, Lou and Rebecca.

Ever since convention last year where we all purchased the beautiful Raspberry Tart pencil case at Memento Mall, I have been wanted to make the girls a matching Notebook. Well 1 year later I have finally done it. To go with their notebook I made each of them a bag Tag so we don’t mix up our Convention bags and a little M&M cello bag tube decorated with the extra large 2 Step Bird Punch

Anyway I hope the girls like them. I will be back tomorrow with some more gifts

Here is the fantastic gift I received from my Secret Sister for April. OMG!! What an AMAZING!

Inside was a beautiful hand stamped card and a 2 wrapped parcels. Each parcel was wrapped in a gorgeous linen tea-towel and they were both held together with some raffia - just beautiful.

But the surprise was yet to come as I unwrapped each parcel my jaw just dropped and then tears started to well in my eyes. Each parcel held a beautiful hand created personalised album for each of my children.

I am just so touched that my Secret Sister would spend so much time to create such a personal gift. It sure was a lovely early Mother’s Day Gift.

If you have ever wondered where I get my creativeness from I happy to say it is something that I inherited from my Mum. Mum was always creating while I was growing up, she is an excellent sewer, quilter, cake decorator and paper craft-er. Her scrapbook pages are a piece of ART and she always makes the most beautiful birthday cards completed with personalised verses inside.

Look at the Beautiful Birthday card and matching gift card holder she made me.

The gift card holder actually had some money in it for me to spend at Convention.

    Love you MUM!!

I recieved a package in the post last Friday just in time for my Birthday. It was from my good friend and fellow demonstrator, Karen Thomas.

Inside was a beautiful card and handmade gift.

Isn’t it just gorgeous . .  I just LOVE the colour combo . .  Rich Razzleberry, Orchard Opulence and Kraft.

Her workmanship is always of a high standard and I just love that bow oat the top!

Inside the milk cartons were some smarties, jellybeans and an old childhood favourite - Cobbers! I have not had a cobber since I was 14/15 running around the Little A’s track in Maryborough. The canteen always had cobbers for sale and they were one of my favourites. SO thank you, thank you Karen I just LOVE it!!
