At my last downline meeting Stephanie showed us how to make this beautiful Chocolate Pull Out Pouch.

I think it is so classy with the Whisper White Ink wheeled onto Purely Pomegranate Cardstock. Now I know that I have a bit of fetish for Purely Pomegranate at the moment but teamed up with the lusious Satin Ribbon, this is sure to be one of my favourite little gifts to make.

I especially like how the gift card is attached onto the front of the pouch.

Here are some other examples that i have made since:

    I hope you enjoy

I have to admit that I have a bit of a soft spot for Stampin’ Up!’s 3 x 3 Love Notes. They are so cute and convenient. They are the perfect choice to add to a small gift and can make a box of chocies looks impressive.

When I saw this upright Love Notes Box on Andrea Walfords site, I just had to make one. Now I have to admit my first attempt was a disaster and very FRUSTRATING!!! I just could not get my head around the inches measurements and my lid turned out too small for the box. ARGGGG!!!

So I decided to convert the measurements into centimetres and with the help of my beautiful Upline and friend Stephanie have created this tutorial for you.

    Supplies Needed:

    Designer Series Paper
    Coordinating Card Stock

    Ribbon.

    Bone Folder
    Sticky Strip
    Paper Cutter
    Scoring tool

    Instructions:

    Box

    1. Cut your main colour of card stock 13.7cm x 20.3cm

    2. Score along the long side at 8.2cm flip over and score at 8.2cm again

    3. Score the short sides at 2.5cm

     4. Apply sticky strip to both flaps on one side and to the short middle section.

5 . Press down to seal edges

    6. The belly band is made up of one piece of 2.4cm x 26cm designer series paper and 1 piece of 3cm x 26cm coordinating card stock.

    7. Attach designer series paper to the card stock and score at 5cm, 9.1cm, 17.8cm and 21.9cm

    8. Attach to the centre of your box.

     The Lid

    9. The card stock for the lid measures 13cm x 8.2cm.

Score all 4 sides at 2cm and cut up to the score line at both ends.

    10. Put tape on the sides like the box and seal edges.

    11. Decorate your box. You can do this portion any way you want.

Last night I held a birthday Bash Class at my home. Customers paid $15 each and made a Box in a Bag and 3 beautiful Birthday cards with matching envelopes.

What kind of birthday is it without presents? Each guest was allowed to select a hand stamped gift from me to add to their Decorated gift bag.

All the ladies had a fun night and took home some great ideas for Birthday gifts and cards.

    Card 1 – Metallic Brayering

My fabulous Upline Stephanie recently demonstrated this technique. I think it is a gorgeous technique and quite a few of the ladies loved using the metallic card.

    Card 2 – True Friend

I just love black and white cards, they are so classic looking and I think they are even better when you add a splash of Real Red. I have fallen in love with this Stamp Set from the Spring Mini and I will be very sad to see it go at the end of November.

    Card 3 – Star Punches

This simple card is stunning and is the perfect Male Birthday Card. I cased this ideas from the lovely Nicki Tidbold. You can check out more on her blog.

I am a member of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator group and we were recently given the challenge to create a card using a stamp set and colours that we have not used in awhile.

This is the card I made.

Ever since the new in colours came out in April I do not think I have touched my Rose Red Stamp Pad instead always using Purely Pomegranate. Black is also a colour I do not use often except for outline stamps that I then colour.

I used the Petal Prints Stamp set. This is one of the stamp sets I got in my Starter Kit and I used to use it all the time. I am sorry to say it has not be getting much use later, and I had to wipe off a layer of dust.

I also used the beautiful En François background .

    I hope you like it.

As soon as saw this card I knew I had to make it. It is so cute and the perfect card for little children. (I seem to be making a lot of these lately)

I also liked it as it meant another use for my growing number of punches. In my mind this justifies the need to have them all.

If you would like to make this card I have listed below the punches you need for each character.

Cookie Monster – Scallop Circle, 11/4” Circle, ½” circle and ¼” circle

Elmo - Scallop Circle, 11/4” Circle, ½” circle and ¼”

Oscar the Grouch - Scallop Circle, Large oval, ½” circle, ¼” circle and slot

Big Bird - Scallop Circle, small oval, ½” circle and ¼” circle

Have fun creating these cute little fellows!

I just love this Stamp Set from the Spring Mini. Priced at only $21.95 it is also very reasonably priced.

What I think I like the most about it however is the way it co-ordinates so beautifully with the Summer Picnic Paper and the Die Cut Flowers, both of which also feature in the Spring Mini Catalogue.

I have been using all 3 things recently to make some beautiful projects.

First I made this cute little Scalloped Edged Box along with some matching 3 X 3 Love Note Cards

I then made one of these fantastic Card Organiser Boxes

    with the Summer Picnic Paper.

I have also made another little box that also holds the 3 X 3 love Notes along with some cute little scallop Circle Gift Tags.

I cased this 12 x 12 layout from Makeesha Byl.

When I demonstrate this page at a Workshop, customers are so impressed with how quick and easy it is to create a beautiful page using the die-cut flowers and a strip of Summer Picnic paper.

I hope you too have fallen for these cute products and like some of the projects I have made with them.

Hi and welcome to my Blog. I am so excited to get this up and running. It has been a dream of my for a few months now and I can not believe that it is finally a reality. I hope that you will visit often and it is a source of inspiration for you.

My Blog would never have happened without the talent of the lovely Leonie Schroder. If you are in the market for someone to design a Blog for you she is the lady to talk to. Thankyou Leonie!

Anyone who knows me at all knows how I liked to be organised, so when I saw this idea when blog surfing recently I just knew I needed to make one. It is a Birthday Card Organiser.

I have made a pocket page for each month of the year with a space for me to write the names of my family and friends and the date of their birthdays.

Now all I need to do is make the 50+ cards to store in it.

I have used the beautiful Spring Fling Paper to cover some chipboard to make the cover of my book.  I then used the One of A Kind Stamp Set from the Spring Mini to decorate the front cover along with some Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon. I just love Stampin’ Up’s wide ribbon.

Once I had assembled all the pages I used the fantastic CROP-A-DILE to punch three holes and can I say it punched them out with great ease. I then set some Stampin’ Up! jumbo eyelets on both the front and back cover.

I have held it all together with some pink split rings.

    I hope you like it.
