On Sunday I showed a lovely group of ladies how to make these fantastic Card Organiser Boxes. I first saw these on Dannies’s Blog and fell in love with them straight away.

All the ladies did a fantastic job and their boxes turned out beautifully!

You can see a  tutorial for these boxes here.

This week’s Christmas Card was made from the fantastic Stamp Set, Baroque Motifs. This set is not even a Christmas Stamp Set, but when used with the right colours and teamed up with a Christmas greeting it makes a beautiful Christmas card.

Quite a few American ladies have been making some really cute Halloween treats of late and when I saw Andrea Walford latest Halloween creation, I knew I had to have a go myself. Since Halloween is not that big here in Australia, I decided to change my to a Christmas theme.

I found some individually wrapped Chocolates in the supermarket. They are Dove chocolates and come in milk, peppermint and hazelnut.

They are the perfect size to fit between two scallop circles.

If you click on the above link, Andrea has placed a template to make the box and acetate lid.

For the first box(red), I used the Crazy For Christmas Stamp Set and stamped the images in Staz On Black. i then coloured them in with blender pens and markers.

For the second box (green) I used both the Hung Up On The Holidays and the snowflake from Merry, Merry.

For the third box I made a Mini Pizza Box and inside I decorated my Scallop Circles with the Christmas tree from Tags For All in the Spring Mini.

I am so pleased with how these turned out. I will definitely be making quite a few of these for gifts. I did however come to the realisation last night while making these that there seems to be a common factor in most of my projects. CHOCOLATE. Oh well I think I need to resign myself to the fact that stamping and chocolate just go hand in hand.

Yesterday I showed you how to make some beautiful cards using the Baroque Motifs Stamp Set. Today I am going to show you some cards I have made using Pick a Petal.

I have to admit that this Stamp Set is a fairly new addition to my collection.

I was not all that wrapped in it to start with, but once I had a play with it I loved it. Once again it is so easy to cahnge the look of your card by changing colours and layouts. It is amazing how a button, brad or a piece of ribbon can change the look of a card so easily.

Now when I purchase a stamp set I try and make at least 3 different cards with the one set so I can show my customers how to get good milage out of the one stamp set. Ever since the Baroque Motifs Set appeared in this year’s catalogue it has been one of my favourites. I love the different looks I can get with this stamp set just b changing the colour of the inks and card stock I used.

I wanted to share with you some of the different cards I have made using Baroque Motifs and a varirty of colours and accents.

With Christmas fast approaching I have been getting a headstart on some of the gifts I am making for my friends and loved ones. I recently made this card holder with 6 matching cards using Baroque Motifs.

I have made 3 cards exactly the same but just changed the colours.

The first card I used Pale Plum and Chocolate Chip on Whisper White:

The second card I used Certainly Celery and Purely Pomergranate on Whisper White:

The third card I used Mellow Moss and Barely Banana on Very Vanilla:

All card are A5 size and fit beautifully into this handstamped folder tied up with ribbon.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the cards you can make using the very elegant Baroque Motifs Stamp Set. If you do not already own this stamp set it is definately one I would highly recommend.

As promised here is this week’s Christmas card.

    Dashing Season of Joy

For this card I have used the very popular Season Of Joy Stamp Set. I have teamed it up with paper from the Dashing Design Series paper. The ink colours I used are Real Red and Wild Wasabi. Cardstock is Very Vanilla, Real Red and River Rock. To finish it off I have used a piece of the Real Red wide grosgrain ribbon.

    Enjoy

I recently made this cute little Note Card Holder. It holds 10 Stampin’ Up Note Cards and envelopes.

I have used the Summer Picnic Design Series Paper and Tart n Tangy Stamp Set.

This is such a fabulous gift idea. The Note Crads are sold as a set of 20 cards and envelopes for $9.50 and a pack of Design Series paper is $12.95. So for $20 you would have enough to make 2 boxes and matching cards.

My upline, Stephanie showed me how to make this card at out last Techniques class. It is a little hard to see but the flower has been stamped in a two toned effect known as thumping! It is when you ink your stamp up in a lighter colour and then tap it with the end of a marker in a darker colour. I just love these colours together.

This is not a stamp set i thought that I would ever own but I am glad I did purchase it in the end.

Did you realise that there are only 11 more weeks until Christmas? I did not mean to scare you but instead I hope to inspire you. Over the next few weeks I am going to post some of the Christmas Cards I have been making that will hopefully give you some ideas so you can make your own.

I am going to show you 2 today.

The first card is this beautiful card using the Dashing Design series paper and the snowflake from Seasons of Joy. I have made this in the more traditional colours and I am very happy with how it turned out. The saying is from the Merry Merry Stamp Set.

Seasons of Joy and Dashing DSP

For the second card today, I use (you guessed it mt favourite) Purely Pomergranite and Blue Bayou. Colours you probably would not usually associate with Christmas. I have used the Merry Merry Set again, but I have got a completely different looking card. I just love how versitile Stampin’ Up! Sets are.

Here is another of Angie’s Projects I have recently made.

It is a little card made from a 3×3 Envelope. I think they are so beautiful and have already made a few different ones.

The fist one I made using my favourite colour at the moment, Purely Pomergrante. Don’t you just love that Satin Ribbon?

The second one is a Christmas version. I know I will be making a few of these in the lead up to Christmas.

The last one is using a colour I have been neglecting a little lately, Certainly Celery.

    I hope you like them
