All the workshops I did leading up to Christmas has a Christmas theme, so my samples were in desperate need of “something new”.
I decided to make a few new things with products from the Summer Mini to showcase at my upcoming workshops.
I have used the Ginger Blossom DSP quite a bit so I thought I would give the Afternoon Tea DSP a whirl.
I made 3 new things. A Chocolate Box, Scallop Square box and a Notebook. All three were made using Aftrenoon Tea DSP and the Live Your Dreams Stamp Set.

A tutoril for the Chocolate Box can be found on Makeesha’s Blog, under the Make It Monday.
You can find a video tutorial for the Scallop Square Box on Dannie’s Blog.

On Christmas Day, my sister-in-law asked me if I could make some thankyou cards for her friend who is having a baby on the 5th January.
As you can see by the colour combination she is expecting a baby girl. I had to make 30 cards, so I choose 3 designs and mad 10 of each. I then stamp an envelope for each one and bundled them up in a gift sack with a matching Bag Topper.

I am really pleased with how they turned out and I was surprised at how little time they took once I made my mind up on what to do.
Here’s hoping all goes to plan for Jennifer and her new baby girl today!
Happy Stamping

PS I am sorry the picture is not too clear I will try and post a better one later

I know that I am a few days late in wishing you all a Happy new Year, but I have been enjoying a well deserved break away with my family. But now that I am back, I am so excited because January means the start of Stampin’ Up’s Sale-A-Bration.
During January and February it is so easy to earn free stamps sets. Either place an order of $100, host a party or Sign up as a demonstrator and you will qualify for free stamps. (conditions apply please click on the Sale-A-Bration Link for full details).
We only got home at 6pm, but I snuck downstairs and came up with these 2 card samples using 1 of the Sale-A-Bration Sets.
It is called Polka Dot Punches and as soon as I saw it, I knew that I had to have it.
My first card I cased straight from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.

For my second card I used pretty in Pink and Rose Red along with some of the beautiful Double stitched Rose Red Ribbon from the Summer Mini.

I hope you like them
