I have been wanting to have a go at a One Sheet Wonder for sometime now. For those of you who do not know what this is, it is when you stamp a sheet of plain card stock and cut it up to make various cards. After looking on the Internet trying to find one I liked I decided that I would make up my own, however I have taken inspiration from various people. One site I particularly liked was Mae Collins. She has several One Sheet Wonder Templates both A4 and 12 x 12 on her site you can see it here.

I used the Wild About You Stamp Set as I wanted to make a set of Children’s birthday cards as I never seem to have any on hand when I need them.

The colours that I used to create my cards are:

Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black.

The first thing you do is stamp up your sheet of plain cardstock. In this case I used and A4 sheet of Whisper White:

Then following the cutting guide I made, I cut up the sheet as follows to make 9 individual cards.

After cutting the sheet into pieces you may notice that you have some spaces or blanks, this is where the little red bird came in handy as he was small enough to ink up and fill in the spaces with.

Next I created my cards. I have photographed them in groups of 3.

    Cards 1, 2, 3

    Cards 4, 5, 6

    Cards 7, 8, 9

Finally I made a Card Folder using the Tutorial on Makeesha’s Site under Make it Monday. You can find it here.

It holds all 9 cards and their envelopes.

What a great gift for any busy Mum!

I hope you enjoyed looking at them as I had lots of fun creating them. I dusted off some of my background stamps and used lots of different punches. My desk was a BIG mess by the end of my creating.

    Until next time Happy Stamping
