Well it is hard to believe that another year is gone and it is time to welcome 2010. It seems like yesterday that all the 2000 end of the world hype was happening and here we are 10 years later. A lot has happened to me in those past 10 years. I met my husband, bought a house and have had 2 beautiful children together. Not bad. I hope the next 10 years are as good to me!
Yesterday I ducked to the shops to try and find a new outfit to wear to the New Year’s Party we were going to at our friend’s house, (thanks for a great night Glen and Liz) when these flashing cocktail glasses caught my eye on a bargain table. i knew that they would be a hit at the party for me and a couple of my friends so I bought them.
I decided to make a matching card to go with them and since I was short of time I cased one from Marelle Taylor.
I am really happy with how they turned out and my 2 friends I gave them to at the party loved them. Cheers to you girls!
I of course got myself one as well so I could join in the fun with my non-alcoholic beverage. (One of the joys of breastfeeding is that you can not drink alcohol which means no hangover for me!!!!!)

Heya Linda…These look FAB. Nothing like a bit of pressure to bring out the best in you huh?? I can totally empathise re the no booze bit!! It’s now been 12 years for me (since I was diagnosed with Insulin Dependent Diabetes) and I haven’t touched a drop since. At least you can look fwd to some decadance once the feeding tour of duty is over!!! The flashing glasses look magical beside thecard. Awesome job and Happy New Year!! ooxx
