Once again Stampin’ Up! have made sure that all their products co-ordinate. In the new catalogue there is a quite a few stamp sets that have matching paper and accessories. One such stamp set is Friends Never Fade. Now if you are a keen Blog hopper you may have already seen quite a few creations using this stamp set and DSP as it was available for demonstrators to pre-order before the release of new catalogue.

Anyhow I thought I would share a few of my creations.

My first card uses lots and lots of  new goodies from the new Catalogue. I have used some of the Greenhouse Gala DSP, Friends Never Fade Stamp Set and I even managed to borrow some-one’s new Scallop Trim punch. I then used the new Vintage wallpaper Embossing Folder in my Big Shot Machine.

My next card uses a different piece of DSP and changes the look of the card completely. Once again I have used the new Scallop Trim Punch and I just can not wait to get my hands on one of my very own.

My final card does not use any DSP at all. Instead I wanted the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder Design to be the focus of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at them, until next time

    Happy stamping

One of my favourite stamp sets from a previous Mini Catalogue is Razzle Dazzle. I was so excited to see that it made the new catalogue and recently I have been having a play with this stamp set.

The first card I made is a case from the very talented Teneale Williams.

I just loved colouring the background stamps with my markers and I thought what a great way to make your very own DSP in the colours that you want. So I used this stamp to create a couple more cards that are completely different:

This card is female birthday card using one of my favourite colour combinations, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Certainly Celery. The white cake is from the new BDay Party Rub ons and the sentiment is from a new stamp set called Party This Way. The big B is for Birthday Stamp is from the returning set Party Hearty.

Now for a different look again I made a boy birthday Card Using Pacific Point, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and Real Red. Once again I used some Rub Ons from the BDay Party Rub ons and the balloon is from the stamp set called Party This Way.

So you see 1 stamp can be very versatile and give you a completely different look. I just love how all three cards turned out and I LOVE that background stamp from Razzle Dazzle!!!!!

    Until next time

    Happy 1st Birthday Sophia

My beautiful little girl turned 1 today. I can not believe how fast a year has flown by. It seems just like yesterday that I bought her home from the hospital and now she is this little ray of sunshine with the most gorgeous smile that lights up our lives everyday.

I thought I would share with you some of the things I have made for her birthday:

First here is the birthday girl opening presents

    and eating cake!

Next are her party invitations for her party on Saturday:

She is having a Butterfly theme - complete with a yummy butterfly birthday cake and party bags!

Here is her Birthday card with some of her presents. I wrapped her presents in some of her Big Brother’s paintings from Kindy. He was so excited to help me wrap them and declared “I think Sophia is going to love them!”

One of the things we bought her was a pair of shoes. Sophiastarted walking a few weeks a go so I though she needed a pair of shoes. She was so cute at the shoe shop smiling at the lady as she ,measured her feet. As soon as I put her down on the floor she looked down at her feet, squealed and took off out of the shop with her new shoes. Needless to say I bought them - they are soooooo cute all pink and glittery!

Can you believe that we have 3 friends celebrating Birthdays today!

The first birthday we will be celebrating is Archie’s best friend Zara’s 5th Birthday. She is having a party this morning with a jumping castle and I am not sure who is more excited Archie or Zara. Zara is madly in love with Zu Zu pets at the moment so we got her one. Archie wanted to have a pink cupcake card so I made one and of course some matching paper.

I also wanted to make something special for Zara so I amde her this 12 x 12 Canvas to remember thier recent Farm visit the went on with their Kindy.

Archie helped me to pick out the photos and I kept with the pink theme. When Archie woke up the next morning after I created it he said “WOW Mum she is going to love it!”

It also happens to be Zara’s Mum’s Birthday today as well.Since we were going to their place for the party I thought I would make her a little gift as well. I made her a bag full of cards and envelopes as well as a matching gift box. I like to refer to these boxes as my Indulgents packs as I fill them with some lovely flavoured teas, chocolates and a relaxing face mask. Of course I had to make a birthday card to match.

Lastly my very dear friend and fellow demonstrator Rebecca from Heart and Craft is also celebrating her Birthday today. I have made her a card and matching Gift Bag topper to hide her gift. I can not share her gift with you yet as I won’t be seeing her until this afternoon and I do not want to spoil the surprise

Happy Birhday to each and everyone of you! I hope your day is full of love, laughter and happiness.

I hope you’re ready for the ESAD Christmas in July Blog Hop!

    What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

If you have been following the Blog Hop you should have come from the blog of Shelley Stewart

    Now here are my PROJECTS:

I have created all my projects in 2 colour schemes. One set is more traditional, using Real Red, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. The other set is non-traditional, using Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery. I have used a couple of Stamp Sets: Trendy Trees, Snow Swirled (Big and small snowflake, Best Yet (Level 1 Hostess Set) and Basic Phrases.

My first project is a beautiful altered DVD tin. I have made these before and I just love how they turn out. I have decorated the front of each tin and inside is a set of Cards, Love Notes and Gift Cards using the fabulous Big Shot Top Note Die.

Next I have made a Window Box that is just perfect to hold a bag of Coffee, Tea, Homemade cookies or Chocolates. This box is an altered version of a tutorial that I purchased from Andrea Walford. I changed the dimensions so that you only use 1 sheet of A4 card stock to create the box and then just another small piece to make the lid.

    Who does not LOVE chocolate.

No gift would be complete without some form of Chocolate. I have made these cute little Dove Chocolate Boxes. I just think these boxes are fantastic. I was lucky enough for the creator Kerri Donsky to share the instructions with me and ever since I have been making these as they make the perfect little gift.

Inside the box. Isn’t great how the chocolates fit perfectly into the little sections?

Finally I have created a Gift Bag Topper so I can put all my gifts into one bag and the recipient can not peak until it is time to open.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my projects. I would LOVE to know which colour scheme is your favourite. Any of my regular Blog Readers will know which one I love the most.

You are now off to Vicki Were to see her lovely festive creations

Vintage Vogue is one of my Favourite Stamp Sets from the Autumn Mini Catalogue. I am really hoping that it makes it into our new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue in September. I decided to ink it up and make a couple of cards.

The first card I made is one that cased from Sarah-Jane Kae. You can see her card here. Like me Sarah-Jane is a huge fan of Pink and there is plenty of pink in this card:

    Supplies:
    Stamps: Vintage Vogue

Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
    DSP:  Candy Lane

Ink:  Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip
    Ribbon: Certainly Celery Wide Grosgrain
Misc: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel, Nesstabilities, Big Shot Machine, Brads

I thought that I would make a non-pink card next.

I had a few kits left over from our Autumn-Winter Catalogue Launch so I thought I would change the card slightly and use them up

    Supplies:
    Stamps: Vintage Vogue

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy, Kraft, Soft Suede
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Soft Suede, Versa Mark
    Ribbon: Soft Suede polka dot
Misc: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Brads, Eyelet Border Punch, Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Big Shot Machine, Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel

I am really happy with both these cards and I made up a few of them ready to send to some friends and loved ones!

I was lucky enough to have a girl’s Night Out with 2 of my closest friends on Friday Night. We do not get to out much these days as we have 8 children between the 3 of us, but when we do we always have a great time. These 2 friends mean the world to me and I wanted to make them a little gift to help them get through the rest of the holidays. I just love this template from Papertry Ink. It is called Tucked Away and you can print it staright onto your cardstock and cut it out. I filled both of the boxes with some flavoured Tea and yummy chocolates.

Love you GIRLS and I am looking forward to our next night out!
